| Description: | Our client now forms Europe’s largest marketplace for holiday homes, offering over 130,000 properties for rent worldwide. They are looking to recruit a Search Engine Marketing Manager. This role is a platform for other opportunities within Internet marketing and our client offers flexible working hours. The company is looking for an experienced and ambitious marketing professional to work in their marketing department. The key function within the business will be to support the SEO/PPC marketing team in the implementation of strategic initiatives, as well as regular analysis and monitoring of key metrics for the business. You will track industry trends and provide strategic recommendations for the growth of SEO optimised content within their website. You will work on a European level with several multi-lingual sites. They are looking to recruit an individual ideally with previous experience of working for an Internet based company like Google, Ebay, Amazon, Expedia, Opodo, etc (though this is not essential). The role will involve you in the following: * Management of existing links on a daily basis, checking for reciprocation and notifying websites of any changes in linking across all products. * Increasing the number of links from various sites and increasing the number of links on Search Engines, including link exchanging. * Develop and manage substantial key word campaigns throughout the Paid For Listings channels involving multiple account management. * Site optimization across the portfolio of websites. * Creation of content pages with reference to keywords supplied for their websites. * Management of external agencies. Evaluate effectiveness of all online marketing programs, draw conclusions, report and develop recommendations. * Build and maintain excellent relations with search engine contacts who provide an excellent resource for ideas, information and problem solving. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in online marketing (preferably SEO and PPC) and will: * Be highly analytical * Be a problem solver – able to spot aberrations in trends * Make solid recommendations on SEO strategy and traffic growth * Be able to interact with a creative team * Enjoy a small company atmosphere * Have experience with various marketing tools like Wordtracker, Keyword Discovery, Web Position Gold, NetTracker, and of third-party bid management software would be an advantage (BidBuddy, Atlas Search, DC Storm etc.). * Hold refined presentation build and presenting skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into generically understandable language. * Be highly knowledgeable about natural/organic search engine optimization tactics and how web metrics are tracked (http headers, redirect, tracking pixels, etc.). * Have global experience and additional languages are desirable but not essential. |
